At the potter’s house, God delivered a message to Jeremiah using the imagery of a potter and clay. While each lump of clay has its own innate shape, the potter must have the skill to draw it out. The clay, on the other hand, must be willing to be molded. Together, the potter and the clay work to produce something beautiful. Together, Potter’s House staff, residents and their families will create an atmosphere where change, growth and mutual molding are both encouraged and safe.
